Blues can confirm that Paik Seung-ho has signed a contract extension.
The 27-year-old midfielder, who joined in January following the conclusion of three years playing for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, has committed his future to Birmingham City until at least June 2028.
This news comes a week after  for their AFC Third Round 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualification matches against Jordan and Iraq.
His deserved selection follows an impressive start to Birmingham City’s 2024/25 Sky Bet League One campaign, missing just two minutes of game time as Chris Davies’ Men’s First Team worked their way to the top of the third-tier table.

Speaking to BluesTV at the Birmingham City Elite Performance and Innovation Centre, Paik highlighted why staying at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park was the perfect move for his professional life.
“I am really happy to have signed my new contract with Birmingham. Since the new season started, I feel like we can do something really, really big. What we are doing every day and how we are playing every game, people can see we are going in a good process, I think. I feel like staying here is good for my career in football.”
Paik made his Blues debut during February’s West Midlands derby away to West Bromwich Albion and scored his first goal in May’s final-day win over play-off chasing Norwich City.
