Maintaining their strong start to the 2017 Championship season, Sheffield United

On Saturday afternoon, Sheffield United defeated Luton Town 2-0 at home. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, a Crystal Palace loan player, scored twice for the Blades as they added three more points.

The team led by Chris Wilder has adjusted to life in Championship after being demoted from the Premier League the previous year. They are currently vying for an instant promotion back to the top level after finishing in the bottom three with Burnley and the Hatters.

Following the victory over Luton on Saturday, Wilder stated, “We played well today, and it’s been a good win for us.” I’m thrilled with the performance and the outcome because we persisted in doing the right things and eventually wore them down. I would want to thank the board for allowing me to campaign for Jesurun (Rak-Sakyi) this summer, as we fought very hard to get him in. We want to see more of him since he was at his best today. We know that’s what forward players are supposed to do, but our goal as a club is to win football games, so we hope that will give him the confidence and belief he needs. We’re currently enjoying a pleasant little run.
