It has been widely believed that Celtic, who initially began sponsoring with Adidas back in 2020 are close to securing an extension with the sportswear manufacturing business with the present arrangement ending at the end of the season.

Celtic will hold Adidas Elite designation beginning with the 2025/2026 season, thanks to the lucrative new partnership.

The benefits of the upgrade include new authentic uniforms with heat-dry technology and the inclusion of the infamous trefoil adidas emblem on the third outfit.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Juventus, and Manchester United are now the top teams in the brand.

Newcastle United and Italian heavyweights Roma are among the clubs that have strong ties to the corporation and have won with their marketing efforts. Both clubs appear to be on track to follow Celtic, who will move up from the brand’s B Premium Tier.

biggest kit sponsorship deal ever

The 2020 partnership with Adidas was the largest kit sponsorship deal announced in Scottish sport history. The multimillion-pound arrangement will be extended for another five years, and the money, as well as Celtic’s global retail reach, is expected to expand again.

Commercially, this is another significant win for the team. Off the pitch, there are few better-run clubs in international football than Celtic. This new arrangement is proof of that.
