Despite the early season, Steve Cooper faces additional pressure as Leicester City’s manager. However, the 1-0 win over AFC Bournemouth will help alleviate this.
Facundo Buonanotte, on loan from Brighton, won the match with a stunning performance. Leicester also maintained their first league clean sheet of the season.
The Foxes now sit 15th in the league heading into the second international break, and have won four consecutive matches.

Leicester supporters have criticized Cooper for his perceived harsh tactics, especially in midfield.
Cooper often used three defensive midfielders (Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp, and Wilfred Ndidi) together, but against Bournemouth, he opted for a more attacking approach.
Winks was dropped from the starting XI for the first time this season, with Jordan Ayew taking his place ahead of Skipp and Ndidi.
Cooper was queried about his choice after the game and stated, “It’s been asked quite a lot about the variety of midfield players when we were going through the transfer window.” It provides us with options and specific features for specific games.
“We hadn’t won in six games, so you were continuously looking for small answers. You want to make a plan. Harry is a really important player for us, and he has made a significant effect since his arrival. And I am confident that this will continue in the future.
“However, we have other players in each position who can make an impact. It’s a fantastic example of being prepared. It is an excellent example of how opportunities may arise. This is the nature of contemporary football. Sometimes things change.”
Cooper needs to be praised for his gutsy choice at Leicester City.
Many were startled when the selections were revealed, since Winks has been crucial to Leicester since coming last summer.
Cooper is paid to make big choices and deliver results, and he accomplished both against Bournemouth.
Leicester looked more better attacking with Ayew in the advanced midfield role with Buonanotte and Stephy Mavididi on each wing, and Cooper’s positive attitude was rewarded with three points.
