According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT, Jonathan David is the subject of interest from FC Barcelona. However, the Catalan giants face stiff competition from Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur for the 24-year-old LOSC Lille striker.

Jonathan David has gone from strength to strength since joining LOSC Lille from KAA Gent in August 2020. While the Canadian international has endured a few below-par campaigns, he has been instrumental to the Ligue 1 club’s success in the last four years.
The 24-year-old has been hot off the blocks in the 2024/25 season, amassing eight goals and two assists in 13 appearances across all competitions. However, David’s spell with LOSC Lille will end next summer after his contract expires on June 30, 2025.
