‘Real reason’ for Celtic man’s omission from NT revealed – Player aims to be ‘more useful’ for Brendan Rodgers

Celtic’s Luis Palma has been restricted to a reserve position under Brendan Rodgers this season.

The Honduran international has played 107 minutes in four games, 37 of which are in the league.

On Friday, Honduras manager Reinaldo Rueda left the Celtic player out of the squad for this month’s international break.

According to El Heraldo, the 24-year-old’s absence from matches against French Guiana and Jamaica was unexpected. They have now disclosed the’real reason’ for the national team manager’s decision not to call up the Celtic attacker.

It is reported that Rueda and his coaching staff agreed to make this decision in order to benefit the athlete. The vacation allows the forward to work at Celtic and regain his best form.

According to a previous claim on the same website, the attacker has decided to discontinue use of social media for his mental health.

El Heraldo reports that Plama remains optimistic that the coming weeks will go in his favour. He intends to take advantage of the international break to rebuild his form and fitness.

Palma wants to be’more valuable’ to Brendan Rodgers, and time will tell whether he succeeds.
