Rangers predicted XI v St Johnstone – James Tavernier dropped in 3 changes

Rangers predicted XI v St Johnstone – James Tavernier dropped in 3 changes.

Following a devastating 4-1 Europa League loss to Lyon on October 3, Philippe Clement will be eager for his Rangers team to go back to winning ways.

On Sunday, October 6, the Giants welcome St Johnstone to Ibrox, and the Belgian may decide to rearrange his starting lineup.

It’s possible that the midweek match affected some of the players, and the hosts may be making adjustments.

Rangers could make three changes v St Johnstone

James Tavernier struggled against Lyon and has come in the firing recently for his below-average defensive performances.

It makes sense for Clement to drop him for a home league game in which Gers are the overwhelming favourites and give Neraysho Kasanwirjo a go.

The 22-year-old showed that he could do a good job for the team after he came off the bench on Thursday night.

Vaclav Cerny has started the last four games for Clement’s side and he could be given a breather with Ross McCausland starting this one.

Clement has opted to play McCausland on the left flank as well but Nedim Bajrami is likely to retain his spot in the playing eleven.

The third and final change could be summer signing Hamza Igamane coming into the eleven in place of Cyriel Dessers.
