Fisher hailed their performance and highlighted the importance of responding to their frustrating setback at Swansea last week.
“I thought we were brilliant today,” the young full-back said. “We showed that in the first 25 minutes with how dominant we were and it was good to get the goal
“It was important that we bounced back after last week. It was a disappointing result and the lads took it a bit personally, we showed that with a great result today. We’re getting better every week.
“People are seeing what we’re doing here. We’re only going to get better – everyone is really enjoying themselves.”
After that defeat in South Wales, plenty of attention was placed on City’s struggles to convert real possession into tangible chances along with a lack of efficiency in the final third.
