Chris Sutton makes his prediction for Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest this weekend

Chelsea host Forest in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge. Overall, Enzo Maresca has had a solid start to the league season as he adjusts to life as the manager.
The Blues are now fourth in the division table after six gameweeks, having found some form and consistency by winning three straight league matches.

Chris Sutton predicts Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest

Chris Sutton, a BBC commentator, believes Chelsea will enter the international break invigorated from a narrow victory over Nottingham Forest.

Sutton told BBC Sport: “Chelsea are much easier to predict this season.” I am not getting their grades correct, but I am having much more delight with their results…

“Cole Palmer, who will be remembered as ‘the one that Manchester City let get away’, is on fire right now, and it’s as if he has eyes in the back of his head. I enjoy watching him play because everything comes naturally to him, and it appears that he will score every time he plays.

“Forest will undoubtedly score a goal since I am not convinced by Chelsea’s defense, but this is a home win – I am certain of it. Sutton’s prediction is 2-1.”

Chelsea can’t stop scoring

One of the most noticeable effects of Maresca on this bunch of players is that they seem devastating as an offensive unit, which is partly due to the way they move forward with speed and numbers.

Chelsea has scored 15 goals in their first six Premier League games, a league high. In addition, they’ve scored 12 goals in four games in many cup tournaments this season.

There’s no doubt that the squad needs to tighten up defensively, but with their firepower at the top of the pitch, they appear to be capable of blowing away many opponents right now.

It’s telling that Christopher Nkunku, who has seven goals in ten games across all competitions this season, is currently unable to break into the league starting XI.
