Chris Sutton has now predicted who will win when West Ham face Ipswich Town.

This weekend, West Ham takes on Ipswich in a game that might be crucial for Julen Lopetegui to win.

Lopetegui is already under fire in east London, just a few months into his West Ham stint, following a subpar start to the campaign.

Despite a promising transfer window, West Ham’s performance this season has been lackluster as they have only won one game.

Fortunately, this weekend’s matchup between the Hammers and Suffolk Town is one that they can easily win.

Though they have lost all four of their games since returning to the Premier League, the Tractor Boys are currently enjoying a brief winning streak after drawing their previous four.

Chris Sutton has been previewing this match for the BBC in his column, and he has predicted that West Ham will win this Saturday.

Writing in his column for the BBC, Chris Sutton has been previewing this game, and he’s tipped West Ham to come out victorious this weekend.

“At this moment in time, they are a better structured team than West Ham. They showed it with the way they finished their draw with Aston Villa last week, and the only downside from the way they have started the season is the fact they don’t have a win yet.

“With the quality the Hammers possess, things will ultimately click for them, but it hasn’t occurred just yet.

Even though I detest picking an Ipswich loss, I’m going to stick my neck out and say the Hammers will play better this time.

Basically, I’m supporting them to provide a performance that they haven’t been able to do under Julen Lopetegui this entire season.

“They really do have to.” He truly needs a win since West Ham supporters aren’t always the most understanding and are expecting more than they have received thus far. There was a lot of hype surrounding his replacement for David Moyes.

West Ham need to improve

Although they can win this game, West Ham will need to get better in order to come out on top.

Ipswich have bruised a few noses this season already, taking points off the likes of Aston Villa and Fulham, two teams that are presently in the top six.

After a sluggish start to his reign, Liam Delap is playing fantastically right now, and if the Hammers fail to rise to the occasion, this might turn out to be a banana skin for Lopetegui, possibly even fatal.
