Brighton have been busy on the training ground this week ahead of Sunday’s Premier League showdown with Tottenham at the Amex Stadium (4.30pm).After their first six games, which included two victories, three draws, and a loss, the Seagulls are currently ninth in the standings with nine points. Last Saturday’s 4-2 setback at Chelsea was Fabian Hurzeler’s first defeat since the German head coach arrived from St Pauli last summer.

After Brighton’s defeat at Stamford Bridge, a lot of attention was focused on their defensive high line. Hurzeler said he will be talking to his players this week to find out if they feel comfortable sticking with it against a strong Tottenham attack.

While Evan Ferguson, who was previously linked to a move to Tottenham, is vying for his first Premier League start, Brighton will be hoping that £25 million summer signing Brajan Gruda will be available for the first time this season.
