Michael Duff brought up the question of confidence after Huddersfield Town’s 1-0 loss to Birmingham City.

“We needed to score because we had the opportunity and we are confident where we are,” Duff said. “We made some really nice passes, but we were unable to find the game-winning pass.
“In the end, they wore us down because we were playing against a really good team that is riding high.”
“However, confidence plays a big part in it. We were competitive in the first 25 minutes, but not in the latter 25. This was evident in our first contacts, headers, and duels. We need to apply ourselves, our attitude, and our energy every week.
After winning four of their first nine games and losing five, Huddersfield is now in fifteenth in League One.
