Bayern Munich have just dropped a huge Harry Kane update ahead of Aston Villa trip
Aston Villa is getting ready for their tantalizing Champions League matchup with Bayern Munich.
Aston Villa defeated Young Boys 3-0 in their Champions League opener, but facing Bayern Munich, led by Vincent Kompany, presents
a different challenge.
Bayern has won six of its seven games this season in all competitions, including a 9-2 thumping of Dinamo Zagreb. They have had an
almost perfect start to the season.
It should come as no surprise that Harry Kane, a former Tottenham striker, has been essential to the start of the season, scoring an
astounding 10 goals in just seven games.
Though Kane’s ankle injury in the draw against Bayer Leverkusen raised doubts about the attackers’ health, it also diminished his
prospects of playing at Villa Park.
However, a fresh update has since emerged on the Englishman, who will hope to lead the line against Aston Villa.
Harry Kane spotted in Bayern Munich training ahead of Aston Villa clash
Kane gave Bayern fans a favorable update regarding his injury sustained on Saturday night, indicating that he expected to be ready to
play against Villa.
Many would have thought that was wishful thinking, but according to Bayern’s official website, the “world-class” forward was observed
exercising with the rest of his teammates on Tuesday, turning that dream into reality.
That will be welcome news to Kompany, who will undoubtedly choose his remarkable talisman to start at the front of the line. It also
sets up a fascinating matchup with Ezri Konsa and Pau Torres, the center back combo for Aston Villa.
Having played with Kane while on England’s international team, Konsa is well acquainted with the player. It is easier said than done,
but the 26-year-old needs to summon all of his defensive prowess and understanding to stop the Bayern attacker from having an
influence on the match.

Kane was unstoppable against most Premier League defenses, scoring 15 goals against Leicester City (his highest total against a single
team) and eight goals in 13 versus Aston Villa.
In their most recent meeting of the 2022–2023 season, the Englishman scored a consolation penalty in Spurs’ 2-1 loss.
Emery’s team’s seventh-place finish and subsequent qualification for the Europa Conference League were sparked by that victory.
In order to secure a historic triumph, Villa will now attempt to stop Bayern’s unstoppable scoring machine, assuming Kane does start on Tuesday night.
