It’s safe to say that since Steve Cooper took over for Enzo Maresca in the summer, Leicester City supporters haven’t been won over.
Due to the club’s unstable financial situation and lack of appeal to many, Leicester City did not have many options when Enzo Maresca left for Chelsea.
Ultimately, Steve Cooper was named, but the appointment caused controversy because of his affiliation with Nottingham Forest, a rival team, and many people thought his methods were unfavorable.
Although Leicester hasn’t won a game in the Premier League this year, this opinion hasn’t changed much, but supporters should have a bit more hope after their team nearly won at Arsenal on Saturday.
After falling behind 2-0, James Justin’s brace rallied Leicester to tie the game at 2-2 for Cooper’s team. But it was heartbreaking late because Arsenal stole the points with two goals in stoppage time in the second half.
Leicester City may have to act now to appoint Graham Potter
Leicester showed a fight against Arsenal that had not been apparent in the draws against Everton and Walsall in the week leading up to the trip to the Emirates.
