Why Orlando Pirates player suspended for the match against Richards Bay

The Betway Premiership game between Richards Bay and Orlando Pirates this weekend is postponed due to Thabiso Monyane’s suspension.

Monyane is not there during the Richards Bay combat.

Pirates’ right-back During their comfortable 3-0 victory over Polokwane on Tuesday, Thabiso Monyane received his fourth yellow card while sitting on the bench. He will not participate in Sunday’s King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi. It kicks off at 15:00.

Since new addition Deano Van Rooyen already appeared at ease, Monyane was never going to start the match. The former Stellies player completed more tackles (57) than any other player in the Betway Prem last season and has started both of Pirates’ league games this season.

Foresaw starting lineup versus Bay

Jose Riveiro, the manager, has many of possibilities in every department. From the team that defeated Chippa on the first day to the one that defeated Polokwane, he made just one alteration. Makhehlene Makhaula, the midfield enforcer, was replaced by Kabelo Dlamini, however the latter may be added back to the squad to give greater defensive assurance in the engine room ahead of a challenging road match.

Stunning depth everywhere

With his brace against Polokwane off the bench, Evidence Makgopa has caused Riveiro a great deal of offensive headaches. Tshegofatso Mabasa, the winner of the Golden Boot last season, is still probably going to start, but Makgopa adds another level of depth to the Pirates off the bench with his unceasing channel running and underappreciated linkup play. Tshegofatso Mabasa, the Golden Boot champion from the previous season, is the front-runner for the number nine position. Another option off the bench in that position is Boitumelo Radiopane.

With Patrick Maswanganyi holding the reins, Monnapule Saleng returning to form, and the immensely gifted Relebohile Mofokeng improving every day, the Bucs assault is rife. For the young person who will only turn 20 in October, the possibilities are endless, and Mabasa adores the service he’s getting from that supply line.
