Brighton star’s agent issues contract warning after Roberto De Zerbi transfer phone call

Brighton star’s agent issues contract warning after Roberto De Zerbi transfer phone call.

After two years of his current Brighton contract are up, Julio Enciso, a 20-year-old forward, is rumored to have shown interest in

joining Marseille from his previous manager, Roberto De Zerbi.

In the event that Brighton fails to get a new deal, Brighton prodigy Julio Enciso’s representative has alerted Albion to the fact that his

client will have plenty of possibilities.

With less than two years remaining on his current contract, which expires in June 2026, the 20-year-old Paraguay international plays

football.

Enciso himself lobbied for a four-year contract, while Brighton had originally planned to sign him to a five-year contract in the

summer of 2022.

Additionally, although agent Pedro Aldave has had preliminary discussions on an extension with the Seagulls, it appears that no final

agreement has been reached.

“In the first season, we already spoke with Brighton,” Aldave said to the South American publication Versus. We got along well with

the club, and we’ve had multiple meetings with them. Enciso’s future will undoubtedly be followed by other teams, and if a chance to

sign him arises, other teams will want to do so.”

It is also believed that Roberto De Zerbi, the former manager of Enciso, was unsuccessful in his attempt to acquire a move this

summer after being hired by Marseille.

“He wanted to get the best out of me, he didn’t give me the No. 10 for nothing. He demanded a lot from me, he challenged me when he

had to challenge me, he told me when he wanted me.”

Enciso’s remarkable progress in the Premier League was halted at the start of last season when he suffered a torn meniscus in his left

knee during training.

The injury required two operations but the Paraguay international gem is now hoping to turn the corner following a series of stunning

goals against Chelsea and Manchester City at the back end of the 2022-23 campaign, having also netted against Arsenal (above). At the

time, City had been credited with an interest in Enciso, who represented his country at this summer’s Olympic Games.

The highly-regarded attacker is still getting to know Albion manager Fabian Hurzeler, but the German said during preseason, “He is

very young, he has a lot of potential.” Given that Brighton is looking for young players with a lot of promise, he is exactly the kind of

player they need.

It is now our responsibility to help him and provide a positive atmosphere for him. In my opinion, for him to perform to the best of his

abilities on the field, he requires a setting in which he is at ease. That is what we have to do today.”
