Speculation Runs Wild Following Davante Adams Injury News.
There was no reason to think that Davante Adams, a wide receiver, wouldn’t play in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns early in the week. Surprisingly, the Las Vegas Raiders star was ruled out on Friday after being added to the injury report on Thursday.
Adams most likely injured his hamstring during practice on Thursday, which is why the Raiders are being cautious. But once he was ruled out, there was a lot of conjecture on the internet that since he would probably be moved, both parties should exercise extra caution.
Some even predicted that if he was transferred to a new squad, he would suddenly recover. That’s a stretch given that Adams is the team captain and has never expressed dissatisfaction with the Raiders.
A wide receiver’s ability to play despite hamstring injuries is severely limited, and these injuries rarely recover without enough rest. The Browns have a long list of injury concerns and have already ruled out three starters.
When facing a club that is just as injured as they are, the Raiders are probably being cautious. Adams should be monitored if he continues to miss time, but if a trade is the plan, it would seem more prudent to play him and allow him to prove to teams that he is still a valuable player.

Even though Adams is only in his third season with the Raiders, he has spent the most of his time dealing with trade rumours. He addressed the recent trade rumours before the announcement of the injuries.
