After defeating Middlesbrough 1-0 in the league to avenge their first league loss of the season, Regis Le Bris’ team looked to maintain momentum in a busy week leading up to the international break. After a stellar start to the season, Watford’s performance has declined, as they have only picked up one point from their previous three games. But they gave a strong performance in the Carabao Cup against Manchester City earlier in the week, which will give Tom Cleverley hope that they can recover.

In addition to dealing with injury concerns, both head coaches must make some important selections. Here, we run you through everything you need to know…

Poveda has missed the last two games with a thigh issue but has trained fully this weekend and Le Bris expects him to return to the squad. Will have to settle for a place on the bench and hope he can catch the eye as an impact substitute.

Had to come off early during last weekend's defeat to Norwich City as a result of a muscle problem, which will rule him out until after the international break. A big blow as he is captain and normally a must pick. Jonathan Bond will deputise in his place.

Daniel Bachmann is not in.
