In an attempt to win their first Premier League game of the year, Wolves will host Liverpool at Molineux this weekend. It’s early days, but Gary O’Neil’s men look to be in for a tough campaign battling at the bottom of the table.

The switch from Jurgen Klopp to Arne Slot has gone pretty well, and while finishing in the top four is Liverpool’s primary goal, a title challenge isn’t out of the question. The Old Gold have only one point from their first five games and are eliminated from the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool has maintained a clean sheet in 65% of their Premier League games against Wolves (13/20), the second-highest rate of any side to have faced another 20+ times in the competition, after Chelsea against Middlesbrough (67% – 20/30).
