Aston Villa reportedly have their eyes on a free transfer in 2025, however, Newcastle United are in talks to seal a deal of their own.

With eight players acquired throughout the transfer window, NSWE and Monchi had a very successful summer. Under Unai Emery, Amadou Onana, Ian Maatsen, Jaden Philogene, and Ross Barkley all signed long-term contracts to join Villa Park and have made appearances in the Premier League this year.

There have been rumors of further incomings even though they might need to sell in 2025. Richard King, the defender, and Semih Kilicsoy, the winger for Besiktas, and Ryan Rocha, the striker for Brazil’s U20 national team, all been linked to a move to Villa Park recently.
Jonathan David of Lille has also been mentioned as a potential target. Villa is reportedly in the running to sign the Canada international, according to reports from earlier this month. However, new information has surfaced.
