As theyRangers’ flop rejoices loudly beside a Celtic loanee.

Celtic signed a Rangers flop and star who helped them defeat Manchester United.

Even though they experienced setbacks at Rangers and Celtic, two former players from both teams are now enjoying a fantastic victory over Manchester United.

Forward Sam Lammers joined Rangers in the summer of 2023 and played in 31 games, scoring just twice and dishing out two assists before returning to his native Holland to play for FC Utrecht. In an effort to put an end to his Ibrox problems, he signed with FC Twente in the summer. This season, he has scored on a stage that is shared with his former team.

Rangers’ league phase opening was against Malmo, and Man Utd was up next. Lammers robbed the Red Devils of possession and scored the equalizer at the near post to draw the match 1-1.

Jogging to the corner flag to join the FC Twente substitutes in celebration, he was met with chaotic scenes by Gustaf Lagerbielke, a Celtic loanee. The defender, whose playing time at Parkhead was restricted, departed the Premiership winners in the summer to go on loan to Holland.

Lammers was replaced by Lagerbielke, who assisted his temporary team in spotting a valuable point while traveling. Ex-Rangers player Lammers said to Ziggo Sport after the game, “I am a very happy person, a great moment.”

“A wonderful moment in the away section as well. Enjoyment is that. As a striker, that is what you always do in potential circumstances. I had a lot of goals scored in my head.

“I’m happy I got one.” It was a match that was fair. You could have been able to win if you had handled some counters a little more skillfully. This is a really good, hard-fought point.
