Raiders Have Made QB Decision For Matchup With Browns

The Cleveland Browns already know who they will face in Week 4.

Despite some conjecture, the Las Vegas Raiders will not make a change at quarterback before Sunday’s game.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Gardner Minshew will keep his job for the foreseeable future, with Aidan O’Connell serving as his backup.

Minshew struggled severely in Week 3 against the then-winless Carolina Panthers.

He threw for 214 yards, one touchdown, and one interception before being pulled, and considering the heated controversy over the quarterback position in Sin City, some decided Antonio Pierce had seen enough.

The Browns had previously faced Minshew, but with a different supporting cast.

He appeared in a 38-39 shootout at Lucas Oil Stadium last season while still with the Indianapolis Colts, replacing the injured Anthony Richardson.

Minshew finished 15 of 23 throws for 305 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, but the Browns defence sacked him four times.

Both teams come into this game with a 1-3 record and are desperate for a win, while the Browns are also struggling at quarterback.

The banged-up offensive line will have its hands full attempting to contain Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins, and Deshaun Watson will need to get the ball out quickly, which has been a struggle so far this season.
