Everton confirm new sponsorship deal as ‘excitement’ follows takeover announcement

Everton has established a multi-year relationship with corporate payments provider Corpay, Inc.

Less than 24 hours after Everton announced the sale of Farhad Moshiri’s 94.1% stake in the club to the Friedkin Group, the Blues have announced a multi-year partnership with corporate payments company Corpay, Inc., which will see the brand’s Cross-Border business become their new Official Foreign Exchange Partner.

Corpay, a global pioneer in corporate payments, offers award-winning Cross-Border solutions for organisations and sectors worldwide.

The club adds that the agreement will allow Everton to use a world-class trading platform to handle cross-border payments, limit foreign exchange exposure from day-to-day business demands, and manage global payments from a single point of access.

Corpay’s Cross-Border business will also assist the club with currency risk management via automated payment systems and foreign exchange services, and the partnership brings together two dynamic brands as Everton joins Corpay’s Cross-Border business’s strong portfolio of sports partners in international football, tennis, swimming and rugby.

Everton’s chief commercial and communications officer, Richard Kenyon, said, “We are excited to welcome Corpay’s Cross-Border business into our expanding partnership portfolio and look forward to working with them over the coming years and contributing to their business growth.”

“This announcement follows a successful summer of new deals which is great credit to my colleagues across the club, particularly those leading the development of our commercial partnership portfolio.”

Brad Loder, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions’ chief marketing officer, added: “The Corpay Cross-Border team is thrilled to be appointed the Official FX Partner of Everton, one of the oldest and most successful clubs in English football. Corpay’s partnership with Everton strengthens its position as the preferred corporate payments and currency risk management company in the Premier League. The company looks forward to working with Everton in the future.

Corpay joins Everton’s list of official partners, which include jersey sponsors Stake.com, shirt sleeve sponsors Christopher Ward, kit manufacturers Castore, Fanatics, Ticketmaster, Socios.com, eToro, sportsbreaks.com, Marc Darcy, Davnti Tyres, Carling, and Red Bull have signed a record-breaking multi-year deal to become the club’s ‘Official Energy Drink Partner’ for the Blues’ new stadium.
