Seung-ho, 27, has been an important performer for the Blues this season, following their relegation to League One. They were relegated from the Championship this year after finishing in the bottom three alongside Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United.

According to BirminghamLive, Daies stated, “There was definitely interest in him, but I was very consistent all along that he would be a key player this season and in future years.” He’s a fantastic player and a fantastic person. In my opinion, there was no genuine risk of losing him. He has been terrific thus far and must sustain those levels.

The Seoul native came to Germany in 2019 and spent two years with Darmstadt, both of which competed in the Bundesliga.2.

Seung-ho then joined Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the K-League, where he appeared 106 times across all competitions and scored 11 goals.

He is a South Korean international with 17 caps, having received his first call-up in 2019.

What happens now?

Birmingham City were glad to retain his services this past summer.

Seung-ho increases their rivalry and depth in the center of the park, and a player of his caliber is too excellent for the third tier.
