Wolves were always going to find it hard to pick up points in the opening weeks of the new season.
But Wolves have been competitive in games and should now be sat on more than just one point.
At the moment, it seems like there could be a mentality problem. Because it has been notable how much Wolves drop off in the second-half of games.
O’Neil must find a way to get some points on the board soon, and former Molineux full-back Andy Thompson feels that there should be a change of approach, and that Wolves should become grittier and more ‘horrible’ on the pitch.
Wolves at least have Cunha in decent form, with the Brazilian scoring his second of the season at Villa.
Cunha cut a frustrated figure at times on Saturday, and he no doubt shares what the fans are feeling right now.
He was one of the only players to send a message to fans after the defeat to Villa, writing on Instagram: “Without many words, work will always be paid. See you in the next.”
