Cardiff City Turns Off the Erol Bulut After Losing to Leeds United

Following Cardiff City’s 2-0 loss against Leeds United on Saturday, Erol Bulut was fired by the club.

Before the Championship match against the Whites, Bulut was under a lot of strain because there were rumors that he may use his profession as retaliation for a loss.

That has now been demonstrated, as his final game as Cardiff’s manager was against Leeds.

Bulut has now been fired, the Bluebirds confirmed in a statement.

The statement read, “First team manager Erol Bulut has been relieved of his duties and will leave the club with immediate effect,” according to Cardiff City Football Club.

Cardiff also announced that Omer Riza will lead the team as an interim manager.

Cardiff is now at the very bottom of the Championship standings with just one point after their loss to Leeds.

The Bluebirds will next travel to Hull City, while Leeds, who defeated Cardiff on Saturday, will host Coventry City.
