Celtic have made ‘world class’ transfer move as Rodgers masterstroke deemed this term’s best Hoops deal.
This summer, Kasper Schmeichel, a former goalie for Leicester City, joined Celtic to take Joe Hart’s spot.
Pat Nevin, a former winger for Scotland and a devoted Celtic fan, has praised Brendan Rodgers for bringing Kasper Schmeichel to Glasgow this summer.
In the first five games of the Scottish league, the custodian for the Danish national team has retained a spotless record. Celtic, on the other hand, have won 5-1 against Slovan Bratislava to secure maximum points and an incredible start to their European career.

Nevin, who spoke with TipsBladet, said that Schmeichel is the ideal successor to Joe Hart, who announced his retirement last summer.
“I have to say that signing Kasper Schmeichel was a stroke of genius by Celtic,” Nevin clarified. They have recently lost a superb goalie. They have now added a new custodian to replace the exceptional Joe Hart.
The former winger for Chelsea continued by calling the acquisition the finest of the summer: Kasper Schmeichel is still a world-class custodian, even though his career is coming to an end’, he continued. Although he won’t have to put in as much effort in the league, he will undoubtedly see more in the Champions League.
“I believe the move to be really good. Without a doubt, he is still an excellent goaltender, and goalies are able to play for much longer than outfield players. I think that’s the best transfer Celtic has made so far this season.
Many Celtics supporters have praised Schmeichel’s contributions, and John Hartson expressed similar views in a previous interview.
He said, “They’ve got a fantastic keeper in Schmeichel,” on The Go Radio Football Show. That might be Celtic’s best-ever acquisition. He is a strong contender to succeed someone like Joe Hart. They therefore have momentum.
