Why Newcastle United wants to go for a significant £43 million deal The Nottingham Forest star is quite logical.

It’s easy to understand why the Magpies might be interested in signing the Forest midfielder, who has been linked to them recently.

It’s easy to understand why Morgan Gibbs-White, a star for Nottingham Forest, is reportedly under intense observation by Newcastle United.

Before they returned to the Premier League in August 2022, there was some surprise when Forest paid approximately £42.5 million to sign the England Under-21 player. Perhaps the best example of this is Gibbs-White, who has an incredible 4.25 goals and shots produced every 90 minutes; the only other current Magpies star who even comes close to that average is Guimaraes, with 3.94 goals.

A move for Gibbs-White would make sense if Howe and the Magpies’ management are eager to infuse some offensive energy into their midfield ranks. However, it would undoubtedly be an expensive transfer that may put pressure on them in their struggle with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability requirements.
