Lakers Prioritizing Player Development
Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka fired Darvin Ham following a dismal season that followed a trip to the conference finals. JJ Redick, a first-time head coach taking over a championship-or-bust team, was hired by Pelinka after a protracted search.
According to NBA.com, Pelinka stated during Redick’s inaugural news conference that player development will be a key component of the team going forward.
