The ‘Headache’ Task McGregor is Glad to Give Rodgers
Celtic captain Callum McGregor has welcomed what he calls a “headache” for manager Brendan Rodgers, as the team’s depth and competition for starting spots intensifies. With several players in fine form and new signings pushing for places in the starting eleven, McGregor is happy to contribute to a squad that gives Rodgers tough decisions to make.
McGregor, who has long been a mainstay in Celtic’s midfield, understands the importance of healthy competition within the squad. After a strong start to the season, the club’s depth has only improved with new arrivals and the return of key players from injury. For McGregor, the growing pool of talent means Rodgers has more options, and while that creates a selection dilemma, it’s a positive sign for the club’s ambitions this season.

Rodgers, now in his second spell as Celtic manager, is no stranger to managing talent-rich squads.
