WB and Blackburn Rovers lead the Championship team of the week, with one player recording a flawless 10/10.
The 2024–25 Championship season’s fifth team of the week has been revealed.
West Bromwich Albion, who jumped to the top of the league standings with an excellent 3-0 victory at Portsmouth on Sunday, had more players in the new team of the week than any other Championship team.
Blackburn Rovers, who have one less player in the WhoScored starting lineup than the Baggies, aren’t far behind. On home turf, John Evans’s team defeated Bristol City 3-0 over the weekend. Now, two points behind West Brom in first place in the championship, Rovers are in third place.
Sunderland, Preston North End, Luton Town, Swansea City, Coventry City, Derby County, and Preston North End are the other clubs featured in this edition of the team of the week. The last three teams may surprise you by being there because none of them were able to win, but individual players still showed their mettle.
