“Better in every department” – Pundit makes Wrexham, Birmingham City prediction

“Better in every department”—Pundit m makes Wrexham, Birmingham City prediction.

Carlton Palmer, a former player for Sheffield Wednesday, thinks that Wrexham and Birmingham City’s match today will be too tight to predict.

With just one draw between them going into the match at St Andrew’s, the two are undefeated so far this year, but Wrexham has three additional points since they have played one more game than the other.

Both teams hope to make it back to League One this season, despite finishing two leagues apart in the previous campaign. The match in the Midlands will serve as an early indicator of both teams’ standings in the third division.

When two of the division’s heavyweights square up on Monday night, something has to give, though Palmer believes both teams would probably settle for a point.

Carlton Palmer makes Birmingham City, Wrexham prediction

With an incredible start to the season, Wrexham has already made progress towards making it three in a row after receiving back-to-back promotions from the National League to League One.

The Red Dragons have adapted to their new surroundings with easily thanks to victories over Wycombe Wanderers, Reading, Shrewsbury Town, and Peterborough United. Their sole loss came in a draw with Bolton Wanderers.

Chris Davies’s tenure at St Andrew’s has been similar. After being held to a 1-1 draw by Reading in his first game in charge, the new Blues manager managed victory over Wycombe, Leyton Orient, and Wigan Athletic.

With both sides likely to be eying each other up, and wary of losing points to a promotion rival, Palmer has struggled to see a victor emerging from the affair.

“This is an interesting game, it is one of those where Birmingham City is at home, they have both strengthened well, and they are both unbeaten,” the former England international remarked.

“Wrexham’s statistics are intriguing; they appear to be superior in every area; although Birmingham City has only scored eight goals, Wrexham has scored eleven.

“Wrexham has given up two goals while Birmingham has given up five, but Birmingham will view this as a home game and we need a draw against Wrexham.”

“Wrexham will be looking to kick on, with Charlton Athletic sat in second place, if Wrexham were to win they would open up a three-point gap on second-placed Charlton.

“It is going to be a tough league, but who do I see coming out on top?

Wrexham Birmingham City
4 Wins 3

The main reason I believe Wrexham is the current favourites is that Birmingham’s players arrived late, which has caused them to take some time to adjust. It’s a very tough game to predict.

“I am not indifferent to the outcome, but if I were a sportsbettor, I believe a draw would occur. However, if I had to choose one side, I would support Wrexham to triumph.”

International break could hamper Birmingham City’s Wrexham clash

Because of the quantity of internationals in their team, Birmingham City has been out of competition for two weeks, while Wrexham, who recently defeated Shrewsbury Town 3-0, is going about their business as usual.

In addition, the Welsh team defeated Salford City of League Two in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy on Tuesday. Coach Phil Parkinson [pictured] was able to rotate his team’s minutes and maintain the winning streak at the Racecourse Ground.

That being said, if the visitors start the game quickly, they may be able to take advantage of the fact that City hasn’t played a competitive match in thirteen days.
