Steven Naismith on value of Brendan Rodgers private chat as Hearts boss thanks Celtic manager

Steven Naismith on value of Brendan Rodgers private chat as Hearts boss thanks Celtic manager.

Despite Celtic’s victory this past weekend, the head coach of the Jambos lauded Rodgers.

Despite suffering another defeat at Parkhead this weekend, Steven Naismith has expressed gratitude to Celtics manager Brendan Rodgers for his guidance and time.

After a private conversation in the days leading up to the Hearts’ 2-0 victory over the Jambos on Saturday, the head coach of the team claims he’s been assisted along the way by the Northern Irishman as well as other experienced managers in the position. With his team sitting atop the Premiership table with just one point from five games, Naismith has come under fire in recent weeks.

He can only gain from direction and support from a manager with Rodgers’ calibre of experience at that point, though. Naismith told The Beeb, “No, I’m not going to tell you what he’s saying.” “The greatest blessing I have personally encountered, in my opinion, is that this league is home to some outstanding managers.

“Our seasoned management have time for everyone of you, despite the fact that you are rivals and are vying for supremacy.

“I haven’t seen something that huge in the past year and a half. As a rookie manager, I find great value in the managers that have given me their time and are willing to answer any questions I have. The moment was pleasant.
