Jack Grealish began his second consecutive game for Manchester City, who defeated Brentford 2-1 on Saturday.

Grealish delivered great performances for Lee Carsley’s England team leading up to the match.

Pep Guardiola made four changes to his Manchester City team, keeping the winger on the left flank after a 3-1 victory against West Ham United before the international break.

Guardiola’s team was put to the test, making it difficult for their attacking players to perform.

Aside from Erling Haaland, the remaining players faced a difficult task in breaking down the visitors’ defense at the Etihad Stadium.

Grealish obviously had times when he appeared brilliant.

During the second half, the player who earns £300,000 per week nearly scored with a curling attempt in the box.

However, Mark Flekken blocked the Englishman’s attempt as he appeared to score his first goal of the season.

But the 29-year-old would have been overjoyed that City secured the all-important three points.

In the Premier League, the Sky Blues meet Arsenal next, a game in which they would prefer not to lose any points.

Mikel Arteta’s team will be under pressure to win at the Etihad Stadium, as they were five points behind City before to the North London Derby despite having played one fewer game.

Grealish was all smiles as he thanked Manchester City supporters for their support on the club’s official X account following their recent victory against Brentford.

“Hi folks, great to achieve our fourth win of the season. Thank you for your continued, wonderful support. I’m looking forward to our Champions League game on Wednesday and hope to see everyone there.”

Jack Grealish will hope to start against Inter Milan.

Grealish revealed that he is delighted to play Inter Milan, a team he began against in last year’s Champions League final, which Manchester City won.

Simone Inzaghi’s squad is one of the finest in the world, and despite playing at the Etihad Stadium, they are capable of pulling off an upset.

Grealish will be hopeful that his two league starts for Manchester City, as well as his performances in training, have earned him a starting spot against Inter.

Any player would be excited to start such important Champions League games.

The former Aston Villa forward is no exception, as he will be looking to make a statement against the Serie A winners.
