subject of numerous widely watched documentaries—White is a well-known businessman. Supporters in the UK are familiar with White, 50, who has made appearances on
other podcasts over the years, such as Undr The Cosh, which features former Sunderland striker Chris Brown, and Jimmy Bullard’s new podcast, which features former Hull
City player Jimmy Bullard. In an episode of Bullard’s podcast that can be listened to here, White expressed his desire to take charge at a team similar to Sunderland and how
the Black Cats’ unwavering support would inspire him to perform well.
Marc White: “Championship or above that. I’d love to run a big side. I’d love to run a big side like Sunderland. Like a Sunderland.”
Marc White: “I would love it because I feel like their fans deserve success. Do you know what I mean? I’m a big football person. I look at that club and I just think you could get decades of Sunderland support and never smile and I’d love to win for them. I look at clubs like that, that have got that, they’ve got that following regardless of winning or losing.”
Jimmy Bullard: “Yeah, yeah, got you.”
Marc White: “Do you know what I mean? I’d love to run a big club like that and make things happen.”
