Three Sunderland players that are already eyeing January transfer moves

A portion of the deadwood may be offloaded by Sunderland during the January transfer window. As the 2024–25 season gets underway, Sunderland has had an incredible start, leading the Championship going into the first international break of the year.

In contrast to most of the Championship, Sunderland’s team looks a lot like the 2023–24 team, which struggled in the later parts of the season. Nevertheless, new manager Regis Le Bris has shown that he can get the best out of his team from the start.

Star players for the Black Cats are beginning to show up. One such player is 17-year-old Chris Rigg, who has already been called a “generational talent” because of his amazing start to the season.

Nevertheless, a few players in Le Bris’ roster have had tougher luck getting into the game, and as a result, their future may be in question.

Following the present uncertainties surrounding their future, these three could move on in January.

The winger can play up top or on the left, but it’s also likely that the Ukrainian will not have much of a future at the Stadium of Light given the form of Sunderland striker Eliezer Mayenda.
