Liverpool ace Bobby Clark update emerges as Rangers and Celtic in transfer hunt

Rangers and Celtic are among a host of clubs including Leeds United, Norwich City and RB Salzburg in the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark, according to Paul Gorst.

The Liverpool Echo journalist claimed on 8 August that 19-year-old Englishman is in demand this summer.

In 2022, Clark made his professional debut with the Reds. The previous season, he even had a part in the EFL Cup final victory over Chelsea.

Celtic, Rangers, and presumably Salzburg are all in the mix, according to Gorst, who spoke with Anfield Index. Almost half of the Championship teams, including Derby County, Norwich City, and Leeds United, are also interested.

Bobby Clark would be a solid signing for Rangers

Given his potential and adaptability, Clark would be a wise addition to the Gers.

The 19-year-old Englishman has already made his Liverpool professional debut and displayed promising signs of skill.

His versatility as a midfielder might offer Philippe Clement’s team much-needed depth and adaptability.

It would be exceptional to beat Celtic to Clark’s signing since it would show that the Ibrox team can fight with its rivals in the transfer market.

In light of the Hoops’ recent dominance in Scottish football, Rangers would be making a statement if they were to sign a young player with Clark’s caliber.

Clark has already demonstrated his ability to play at a top level, and with the correct coaching, he has the potential to succeed at Ibrox in the future.

Whether the 19-year-old midfielder can be successfully signed by the Gers is still up in the air.
