Nuno Espirito Santo wants to know Nottingham Forest’s stance in advance of any potential penalties related to sustainability and profit.
Forest was subject to an independent commission last week after being accused of breaking Premier League regulations.
They could lose points soon because they are now three points above the relegation zone and Luton, their guests on Saturday.
Manager Nuno remarked, “Let’s wait and see. We’re waiting.”
“We’re not sure when it might occur, but the club will handle that. In football, we only pay attention to the pitch. When it will arrive is unknown. The sooner the better, in my opinion.”
A violation of the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) is purportedly related to Forest’s 2022–2023 financial statements. Before facing possible sanctions, clubs can lose up to £105 million in three seasons, or £35 million each campaign.
A win at Kenilworth Road would give Forest six more points than they now have and severely hurt Luton’s prospects of making it out of the relegation zone.
The Hatters lost 4-3 at Bournemouth on Wednesday, blowing a 3-0 halftime lead. Nuno now emphasises the significance of the weekend meeting, which helped Forest.
The former Tottenham manager stated, “We know Saturday is going to be a final, but the result was good for us as it allowed us to keep the advantage.”
“We need to be conscious of the battle we’re in and make sure we win the points.
“The circumstances surrounding this game make it extremely essential. It’s a big game. We must give this our whole attention.
“They are a team who can score, have speed, they play in a particular way and we have to adapt and show we can take advantage of our qualities.”
Giovanni Reyna, an American attacking midfielder, is back from injury as Forest looks to snap a three-game goal drought. Nuno promises to maintain composure for the next ten games.
