He did, however, take some time to imply that this was only the beginning, maybe endorsing his services to other teams who would rather have a more comprehensive system.
The assertion that “He is outstanding with both feet” provided more details about this. I truly respect Sean Dyche, so I won’t criticize Everton, but in that style of play, I don’t think he can develop the game the way I think he can.
He moves smoothly from side to side. Not naturally, given the number of defenders. There are more facets to him than what you are currently observing. You have to realize that he is a baby when it comes to being a defender. It will take him six or seven years to show you his best side.
Regardless of whether he keeps doing well at Goodison Park or somewhere else, this England call-up will undoubtedly raise the price they can fetch.
Sean Dyche has done wonders for Jarrad Branthwaite’s development
Even though it took some time for him to genuinely bench Michael Keane in favor of Branthwaite, the side hasn’t looked back since.
His and James Tarkowski’s unwavering presence created the groundwork, and their resiliency has partially saved Everton’s season.
In fact, their combination has helped the Toffees somehow boast the fourth-best defence in the division despite the club sitting 16th in the Premier League table.
Branthwaite was not thrust into action without preparation by gradually integrating him. In the same vein, though, this experience of fighting on the losing side of the division will only help him be more ready for the fights that lie ahead for him in his storied career.
If Everton makes it through the drop this season, it’s likely that Dyche will relinquish some more control over the team’s operations and let his players show off their entire range of skills in the upcoming campaign. They can’t afford to take any chances right now.
