Ex Hearts star tells SFA it would be a ‘disgrace’ if Rangers get more tickets for Hampden
The Jambos are seeking a 50/50 ticket split for next month’s Scottish Cup semi-final at the national
stadium
If Hearts aren’t given a 50/50 ticket split for their Scottish Cup semi-final matchup against Rangers,
according to Ryan Stevenson, it would be a DISGRACE.
For their match at Hampden Park next month, the Jambos have insisted on receiving an equal share of
the tickets, and club executives are optimistic that they can sell all of the available seats. The Tynecastle
team, who were incensed that they were not given an equal share for their match against the Gers in the
Viaplay Cup semifinal last year, will now argue that half of the national stadium should be painted
maroon.
The former Hearts great Stevenson also thinks his old team is correct to demand this, saying the first
step in any major event should always be a fair allocation.
“You knew what was coming next as soon as the balls came out of the hat after the win at Cappielow,” he
said to the Daily Record. Tickets for the Scottish Cup semi-final row. Hearts have expressed their desire
for half of Hampden already, and they are exactly right.
