‘Utter disgrace’: Stan Collymore disgusted with decision Nottingham Forest have now made

Nottingham Forest have made a decision to reject the terms of a new Premier League settlement with the members of the EFL – and Stan Collymore is absolutely furious.

The Forest legend has taken to X to vent an explosive rant about the situation.

So, what has Collymore said about Forest and their decision over the EFL settlement? Let’s take a closer look…

What Stan Collymore said about Forest choosing to reject EFL deal

It seems that the man who played a distinguished career for the Reds isn’t too fond of Forest.

Collymore believes Forest should be ashamed of themselves after reading in The Daily Mail that they were among the ten clubs who rejected the new £900 million EFL deal.

He pointed the ten clubs at us and sent a powerful message that we have removed the profanity from in an explosive post on X.He declared:

“Utter disgrace from the 10 clubs.

“They should remember how many of them have played 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th tier football in the blink of an eye instead of giving it the big un.

“Not ONE Premier League exists WITHOUT the pyramid it came from.

“Jokers the lot.”

Collymore does make some good points

Ex-Nottingham Forest player Stan Collymore makes claim about Evangelos Marinakis and Fawaz Al-Hasawi

The former striker does, in our opinion, have some merit. We have already mentioned that Forest might come to regret this choice later today.

Collymore, a forest legend, is obviously very passionate about this. Still, this is just an

a terrible reflection of the situation that modern football is in.

The majority of the clubs, especially the more established Premier League teams, do seem to want to keep getting wealthy and ignore the little people.

This would seem to support that idea, and maybe the nation’s finest clubs shouldn’t have a choice.

In the future, if a settlement cannot be reached, there is talk that the government may become involved.

Collymore is going to be hoping for this to happen. It is currently unclear if Forest and the other clubs will modify their positions as this one plays out.
