If Pedro Neto leaves Wolves this summer, he wants to play in the Champions League, sources have told Football Insider.
On Monday, March 11, Football Insider disclosed that Liverpool and Spurs are two of the top teams considering a move for the 24-year-old winger.
The Portugal international is reportedly a top target for Newcastle, Manchester City, and Arsenal.
The Midlands club is thought to have little intention of obstructing Neto’s progress if their valuation is fulfilled this summer, as Financial Fair Play regulations remain a major worry at Molineux.
Football Insider earlier disclosed on February 12th that Wolves is seeking offers for the former Lazio player in the range of £50 and £60 million.
How Tottenham might gain a “huge edge” in the Neto race this summer
On the other hand, reports claim that clubs will have a “huge edge” in the competition to acquire Neto if they qualify for the Champions League.
The athlete is rumoured to be eager to push himself to the limit and even try to win the Premier League in the future.
Tottenham’s 4-0 road victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, March 10, marked a significant step towards a top-four finish.
In 23 games this season in all competitions, Neto has recorded three goals and eleven assists. He is now bound under a long-term contract that expires in June 2027.
Arsenal is prepared to face off against several other elite Premier League teams, including Spurs, this summer after previously exploring a deal for the winger in 2022.
