Sunderland latest Shirt patches on sale also available on pre order

This weekend at the Foundation of Light, Sunderland AFC players will be showing their hearts on their sleeve, and fans are encouraged to do the same.

Supporters may now purchase the shirt sleeve patches that the Lads will wear against QPR because Hays Travel donated their sleeve sponsorship space.

The patches are limited in quantity and are available for purchase at Beacon of Light reception for £5 each.

This past weekend, the Foundation Community Clubs made the patches. If you would like a set for your team, email marketing@foundationoflight.co.uk.

A commemorative pin badge is another option to wear your heart on your sleeve. A limited supply is still available for £3 each from the Beacon of Light reception or through click and collect online.

“Heart on your Sleeve” focuses on three key aspects of wellbeing: passion, physical health, and mental health. It leverages the power of football to encourage Sunderland supporters to unite and support one another.

According to recent studies, there is a rising disparity in health between the North East and the South of England, and these disparities are getting worse in the UK.

Individuals in our region are living shorter lifetimes, with the majority of those years being spent in poor health.

In an effort to address these problems, Foundation of Light works with up to 20,000 youth and families annually. They advocate for parents and grandparents to maintain an active lifestyle in order to set an example for their children.
