Veldman acknowledged that Silva was on “insane” money as a result, but after looking past the impression of a young player who had been handed too much too fast, he developed a strong liking for Silva.
After his stint in Glasgow, the Dutchman has since returned to the Netherlands and stated: “Off the pitch, he may come across as haughty. His tattoos, appearance, and demeanor all reveal a certain cockiness.Fabio is self-assured in his goals and perspective. He can come across as arrogant. However, I really like him, and it comes from the heart.
“When I first met him in Anderlecht, I thought he was a spoiled young man who was too ambitious and too young to have too much money.” Wolves made a substantial payment, and he received absurd pay for his age. However, he adds more recently: “We had some text discussions when Fabio moved to the Rangers. With such a large club, I sincerely hope he can find happiness. Fabio has a bright future ahead of him, in my opinion.
