Chandler Rome reports that Lance McCullers Jr. is recuperating quickly from the flexor tendon surgery he had done last year, which was originally expected to need a 13–15 month recovery period.
But according to McCullers, he hopes to start a rehab assignment by “late June or early July.”
Despite battling multiple injuries during his career, McCullers is a talented starting pitcher.
Later in the season, if he can recover from his injury, he will be a valuable asset for the Astros.
The Astros’ starting rotation is riddled with injuries.
Due to a shoulder ailment, Justin Verlander might not be ready for the season to begin.
Luis Garcia, their pitcher, is also recuperating from Tommy John surgery.
However, the Astros can always rely on their outstanding lineup to make up ground.
This club will be a serious contender for the World Series in 2024 because they should have little trouble scoring runs.
