Jambos will be looking for an even split after frustrations for the Viaplay Cup meeting earlier this season
Hearts are expected to insist on splitting the tickets for their Scottish Cup semifinal matchup with
Rangers 50/50.
After losing in the Viaplay Cup at the end of 2023, the Jambos were drawn out of the hat alongside the
Ibrox team for a second last four match this season. When the SPFL turned down their plea for an equal
distribution of allocations, they were left furious at that game.
They’re now ready to ask for a 50/50 split again and with this one being the Scottish FA’s
decision, Hearts chiefs are set to meet blazers over the coming days. The Daily Record are reporting that
club officials are read to make their case after being left perplexed with the League Cup decision.
In the other match, Aberdeen and Celtic square off, and the Dons were also displeased with their draw
for the Viaplay final against Rangers. According to the article, Pittodrie chiefs would want to get as many
supporters to attend while simultaneously waiting to learn the SFA’s plans.
