‘I do feel for them’… Sue Smith shares why she feels so sorry for Nottingham Forest

Sue Smith has explained why she feels so sorry for Nottingham Forest after Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Brighton.

The pundit has been speaking on Sky Sports News show, The Football Show.

So, what has Smith had to say about Forest and their current predicament? Let’s take a closer look…

What Sue Smith said about Nottingham Forest yesterday

It seems like she’s basically spoken what everyone else is currently thinking.

Another shoddy refereeing call went against Forest, and Neco Williams was fortunate to escape serious injury.

Smith has sprung to Forest’s defence, saying Brighton midfielder Jakub Moder ought to have been sent off.

She said on The Football Show on Sky Sports News: “It just seems like we’re talking about a decision that impacts Nottingham Forest every week.”

“You understand it; they made another poor mistake when they conceded late against Liverpool.

“You can feel the irritation, but in the first half, I’m not sure if the personnel adjustments they made succeeded. It was really annoying, and I do feel bad for them.

As the FFP decision is expected to be made this week, Forest is running out of time, and the bottom three are drawing near.

Forest must now dig deep and adopt a siege mentality in response to their ongoing poor judgements.

The Reds will be upset that yet another poor choice has cost them, and who knows if they would have made a claim against ten men.

Smith is correct to defend Forest, and given that she is an Everton supporter, it must have been difficult for her to do so when the Toffees and Reds are fighting side by side.

We think it’s getting to the point where it’s almost comical, and there is no way that things will settle down for Forest this season.
