Confined: Romano convinced £25m attacker wants to join Rangers

Rangers winger Fabio Silva, according to James McFadden, has realized his newfound magic.

The Wolves loanee impressed last week in matches against Benfica and Hibs. He participated in two objectives.

In the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 match, which finished 2-2. He then scored the game-winning goal at

Easter Road to book a semi-final matchup with Hibs in the Scottish Cup.

Silva has four goals since joining from Wolves on loan in January. Speaking during the Scottish Cup quarterfinal ties

on BBC Sport Scotland, Scotland star James McFadden said he could see how Rangers manager Philippe Clement.

He said: “Rangers go and get the job done. Fabio Silva, who has actually looked really good off the left-hand side. He

has played as a number nine and in support but he has looked good off the left-hand side.

“I think for now you have Cortes that has come in and did really well. He is injured but I think at the minute he is a

threat coming off that left-hand-side.”

Benfica will be the next team that Rangers play in their Europa League second-leg match. Prior to Angel Di Maria

tying the score in Lisbon, Tom Lawrence had given them the lead in the tie. Silva then contributed to the setup for

Dujon Sterling to give the Rangers a lead again. With Connor Goldson’s own goal,

the score is tied before the teams return to Ibrox.
