Another ex-Cowboys player has joined the Washington Commanders. Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz claims that the Commanders intend to sign Dante Fowler Jr.

Over the last few years, Fowler, 29, has noticed a decline in his numbers. In 2023, he recorded 13 tackles and four sacks. With 11.5 sacks in 2019, Fowler was among the top rushers on the quarterback.

Fowler now gets an opportunity to play with his former defensive coordinator in Dan Quinn. Multiple Cowboys players have decided to do that in the early stages of the offseason and it likely won’t be the last.

Thus far, the Commanders have assembled an excellent defense, which finished last season as the poorest in football.
