The Celtic defender appeared destined for Italy, but he is currently a marginal player at Parkhead.
The Swedish defender is prepared for Celtic combat, according to a message from Gustaf Lagerbielke and a Swedish management company.

Under Brendan Rodgers, the Elfsborg summer acquisition has played few minutes. High points include his Champions League victory over Feyenoord. However, he hasn’t been able to play regularly because of injuries and a number of center-back changes.

He was sidelined during Celtic’s 4-2 victory against Livingston in the Scottish Cup quarterfinals over the weekend. This season, Lagerbielke has played nine times in total, however only six of those games have taken place in the Premiership.
